Music Parents Council

The Music Department performs numerous times throughout the school year.  Our two school community concerts are held in December and in May.  Both the Music Parent Council and the Music Student Council are instrumental in the success of each evening.  They help to find people and businesses who are willing to sponsor the program and/or donate raffle prizes for each concert.  Other duties taken on include poster, raffle ticket and program making, as well as ensuring that all items necessary for the bake sale are organized and set up for the evening’s concert.  The dedicated parent and student volunteers are very helpful in manning the refreshment, ticket and raffle tables during each concert. 

We would like to recognize the parent volunteers who have contributed to the success of our department: Sabina Cowie is chairing this council and the following parents have volunteered their time to help:  Wendy Brogan, Leanne Clark, Ingrid Davis, Cathy Freeman, Maggie Karjala, Georgie Lai, Lee Mackichan and Holly Nickerson.
